Mid nineties I took a residency at South nightclub for a year. Playing disco. All night. Every week. No guest djs. Just me 10-3am. I kept my records at the club about 2000 of them. A proper residency. I could have been earning bigger money touring. But this is what I had always wanted.

The fact that the Gov't are considering extending hours for pubs, highlights how out of touch they are with the sector. They don't need extra hours, with extra costs, they need a reversal of the NI increase, reduction in Business rates and a lowering of VAT. Extending hours is just a desperate headline.

Saw a bloke on the tube at 7.30am peel the cover off a Sainsbury's trifle. People were watching, interested to see how he'd approach it. He got a large Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut bar out of his pocket, unwrapped it, then used it as a spoon to eat the trifle. Sensational viewing

Just landed in London Heathrow. Majority of staff are Indian/ Asian & are not speaking a word of English. I said to them, “Speak English” Their reply, “You’re being racist” They know I’m right, so they have to use the race card. Deport them all. Why are they working at the first point of entry to the UK?! What must tourists think…

I can tell you what tourists think. I last went to the UK for a long weekend - flew in, watched the Liverpool-Spurs game with one of my sons, flew home. LHR is like Calcutta with planes and a fence around it. Horrible airport. London? The buildings are the same - But where are all the English? Disparu!
