Just canceled my trip to SFN in Chicago and am weirdly devastated to not be attending. I've been every year (minus COVID) since 1996. Still remember driving to DC with @stappan1 for my very first meeting and being completely overwhelmed by both DC and the meeting itself.

This!!! First thing I did when I started my independent position was demand a lab credit card so that me and my trainees wouldn't have to give our institution zero interest loans just to do our work!!
