@EdDinIL @ArmedJ0y Illinois is already known to arrest people knowing they aren't violating any law anyways, and waiting for them to get a lawyer to release them because they wanna punish people. Minnesota does a similar thing. The cops are often extremely anti-gun there.

@ArmedJ0y "You cannot be charged for driving through Illinois..." Correction, you shouldn't be charged, but do you trust IL not to try anyway? The state won't care if they have to pay a court settlement for a wrongful arrest. The taxpayers will just have to eat it.

They did some nice base covering in the FOPA expansion rule. Interstate transport of firearms is protected, as is magazines and other accessories. You cannot be charged for driving through Illinois with an AR15 if you are just passing through, and they can't pull a sneaky and get you on 30-round mags instead. This was a concern, good to see they caught it.

@VIOLENTARSONIST The SRO at the highschool I went to loved to "joke" by pointing his gun at kids. He would make a game of doing it when teachers and other staff were around but had their backs turned and he would have it reholstered before they noticed.

@Huntsman3766341 The rail kits are deliberately designed to be easy to make with limited tools. Technically all you need is a file and a hacksaw. But a drill press, bandsaw, and some files are enough to make it not too tedious to make a bunch of them.

@fuyuto64 But for handguns I feel differently. I shoot glocks better than anything else, but I have more fun shooting other handguns. The P99 is so fun to shoot to me. Some hammer fired guns are also fun, but others I hate a lot.

@fuyuto64 It's extremely subjective. Many people say the ar15 is too perfect and that makes it not fun. But to me, if I shoot almost any other rifle I end up wishing I was shooting my ar15 instead. It's more fun to me because I can focus on the shooting and not worry about the gun.

@FoxyMarxist I always find stuff like freud very fun to read because it gives you a direct look at what people thought and details of the culture of the time you can't get as easily directly. It doesn't matter if any of it is true or not, the fact it was written like that is enlightening.

@MissRedline because a vehicle is a tool, it gets you from point a to point b. i want that to he as seemless as possible. cars are awful machines and i hate them but i understand they are needs, and sense they are a need they should be as accessible as possible

Listening to a "woke" doctor's podcast. He had an episode on gun control where they talked about guns like they were a contagious disease, and now he has a "feminist" guest who keeps saying transphobic shit and he doesn't say anything. Beginning to think this guy isn't woke.
