@Poots__ @AnfieIdFix This is one of the reasons I really want Mateus Fernandes even ahead of Wharton. He wants the ball no matter what is pretty efficient with it. More athletic than Wharton also and he just reminds me of Bruno Guimaraes which we can’t get so get the younger version

@lfcG122 He wasn’t injury prone in the 2 seasons before his last season at Palace. He had a serious hamstring tear and Palace rushed him back from the injury. He’s not injury prone at all just needed to be managed better after that injury. He has recovered fully now from

The reason Wharton is criticised is very simple, people actually watch football games he's involved in instead of only compilation videos of his best moments like they do with other players.

I think Wharton gets unfairly criticized for the mistakes that he makes. Obviously, he has a couple of deficiencies. He's not particularly mobile, can occasionally struggle when getting pressed, overplays a bit, and has that 'heroball' tendency. (1/4)

@MuziwethuNdlovu People would rather see the money earned by clubs go to billionaires they don’t see than the players. Big clubs make close to a billion a year but players asking for money is the issue. Yh for the average player it should reduce but players have every to ask for certain amounts

More technical fullbacks will also help Wirtz not just bringing Wharton thinking he solves our progression issue

@Lfc200123408 @lfcJ7_ He’s one of the best progressive passers especially for his age. As I said he’s not as good as Wharton at it but getting a more technical RB will also reduce the burden on him. I’m prioritizing Wirtz over Wharton and I just can’t see how both work in midfield
