About 30% of my Codex work now starts on my iPhone, especially when I travel. I’m in Japan right now, connected locally to my MacBook at the hotel. I can be anywhere, send the task, and Codex handles the repo on my Mac.

Or AI costs are just too high to sustain. Who knows

Was setting up my mac mini as a NAS. Watched a few videos and they mentioned to disable FileVault in case of a power failure. And I was like how likely is that (like 0.5%?). It literally never happened before. Now few hours later the whole street has no power lol.

The minimum to run the model is ~$20K in hardware and you get ~20 tok/s out ~$20K gets you around 34.6B tokens at a 12:1 input to output ratio assuming good token caching If you ran the hardware 24/7, it would take roughly 5.5 years to break even

Just tested @vivaldibrowser and gotta say that I like it but there two small things tho: 1. Vertical tabs are really not well implemented. 2. Why can't I dismiss the account creation cta in the profiles menu?
