Gm, to truly play the infinite game, you must be thankful to everyone that’s helped or supported you along the way Many cases where people forget and believe it was them acting alone all along. This marks their plateau and demise.

BEHOLD the power of CARDWARE (hardware in cardboard) This is a very rough mockup to see if everything fits inside, held by prayer and duct-tape. But it already feels nice to imagine an enclosure made from brass (bottom) and wood (top). Excited!!!

Bauhaus Clock for iPhone and iPad is here. Most apps you open. This one you display. The clock loved by thousands on Mac. Now in your pocket. On your desk. On your nightstand. Same obsessive craft. New canvas. Here's what's inside…

new experiment: ai labs in Toronto. you bring one real problem from your work. we match you 1:1 with an expert. 3 hours later you walk out with it solved. think genius bar meets university lab class. we picked a Saturday because the people who need ai most have the least time to learn it. this is the version that actually fits in your life. it's free, only 20 spots for May 9th. fill out your pre-lab to apply - link in the next tweet

In 2019 my girlfriend (now wife) sent Patrick Collison a cold email for the ages. Patrick replied 3 minutes later, warmly, with a yes. A few weeks later I met Patrick at Nopa at 9pm. He ordered tea, I ordered something stronger. He was congenial and energetic, and 90 minutes flew by. The whole episode was special. My wife sending that email was a remarkable gift. Ditto Patrick's generosity. They say never meet your heroes but I think the better advice is to choose the right ones.

We need a "Day in the Life of Patrick Collison." Most people in his position would be drowning 24/7 in emails and Slack messages, prepping to meet with everyone from direct reports to investors to board members, tied up with strategic decisions like "does Stripe buy company X or not," screening daily invitations to public appearances, deciding who to recruit for top positions, and much more. And yet he's doing this--how? Is he amazing at delegation? Does he have an AI-system to help him process incoming emails/texts/calls? How does he prioritize what to focus on? Does he never sleep? What is his secret??

This week I co-hosted the toronto @AnthropicAI claude marketing & gtm event monday night. 1,700+ signed up, could only fit 200 in the room. alongside my co-host @robjama the thing most people get wrong about ai events: they program for audiences. we programmed for operators. every demo was someone's real product or real workflow no panels. no fireside chats. no "the future of ai" monologues. just work. that's the format. we'll keep running it. more coming. if you've been on the waitlist, we see you. thank you to our demo's @itsyusufahmed @vdruts @josh_maldonado @rezakhadjavi Ebad K Marwan & Tom from @ideogram_ai Adam Frank from @rootlyhq and @mimurchison for lending us the space to make it happen we need a bigger room cc: @buildfutureto

500M+ wearables get sold every year and most of the health data just sits there doing nothing. I had a chat with @preshdkumar on how as a non-technical founder, he's able to build on top of it. you don't need to be technical to ship a health app anymore. you need taste, the right AI tools chained together, and the discipline to add craft where everyone else ships slop. 1. chain your tools. LLM for the script, voice cloner for voiceover, music gen for soundtrack, video editor to cut it. presh shipped a full launch video. 2. no-code → IDE is still a real path. build fast in a no-code tool, hit a wall, push to github, debug with an AI agent in your IDE. most non-technical founders are really overthinking this step. 3. prompts are spec docs. @preshdkumar got his landing page near one-shot because the prompt had layout, component names, interaction logic, file names. 4. craft is the moat, not speed. location-aware greetings on a landing page. breathwork animation after waitlist signup. custom copy for repeat visitors. each took minutes. 5. wearable data is just sitting there. cold plunge and sauna aren't even real activity types on apple watch. Presh registers them as "other" and brands them in the app. data exists. the UX on top is the product. 6. stop waiting on your engineer for pixel stuff. Presh ships screens now. didn't learn swift. the language just stopped mattering. 7. your AI tool is a cofounder that's always on. product thinking, storyboards, content, prompt refinement. not everything needs a meeting. this is the first episode in a @buildfutureto series of how builders are shipping with AI

@preshdkumar @rbfasho v cool! Would be useful for short notes. I personally don't do my clearest thinking voicing complex things in real time. Todoist's ramble promises to clean it up to lower the stakes, but hasn't stuck. Gotta get over discomfort hearing my own voice for long stretches!

clear thinking is even more important to produce good work now, and it's harder than ever to train. the space between ideation and execution has shrunk so much that I've trained a new reflex to prompt and iterate where before I would have sat with ideas in their infancy and matured them with revisions and conversation. for years I would type out journalling notes but I'm back to paper to make sure I'm not tempted to copy and paste it over into an LLM for asynchronous exploration. most of my day is back and forth with agents, but sitting with ideas is now much more of a discipline than a day to day functional exercise.

@preshdkumar @rbfasho Can't find details. Is this a notebook that you can write in then easily digitize later? Have bought that dream in a Kickstarters/IndieGogo project (I think Rocketbook), but still never seen a great implementation. Modern OCR/LLMs should make it possible even with my handwriting
