Real Madrid have lacked the mental fortitude to compete against Atletico in LaLiga for years now. Last win at the Bernabeu was in 2021, embarrassing, to say the least. Atletico have started the derbies as favorites regardless of the context of the season in the recent years, exclusively in LaLiga. It is not surprising how they are unbothered by Madrid's slow build up, they like that, they want that. Real Madrid's missed chances cannot be used to sympathize with them. It's not to your credit that you can't put away chances in these kinds of games. Players simply looking to finish a boring day at work and join their national teams.
