Je viens de m’entretenir avec Éric Martel, PDG de @Bombardier. Je l’ai assuré de mon appui total pour défendre le secteur aéronautique. On ne peut pas rester silencieux devant les menaces de Donald Trump contre Bombardier. On parle ici d’un pilier de l’économie québécoise, d’une entreprise qui incarne notre savoir-faire et qui fait travailler des milliers de Québécois. Utiliser la menace tarifaire comme levier politique, c’est devenu la façon de faire de l’administration Trump. Le Québec a bâti une industrie aéronautique forte, reconnue à l’échelle internationale. C’est un secteur stratégique pour notre économie. On a la responsabilité et le devoir de le défendre lorsqu’il est attaqué. On doit moins dépendre des États-Unis et diversifier nos marchés. On doit aider nos entreprises là-dedans. Notre gouvernement va continuer d’assumer ce rôle.
