finished my plurb rewatch & that finale makes it so clear that carol is trying to will a real girl out of the eldritch beauty. it’s interesting how some ppl interpret the carol & zosia romance. if carol was treating zosia as a helen puppet vince would be way freakier about it

I think that’s why she’s driven in her grief to try to see Zosia as an individualized person. She knows she’s a part of the hive but she tries, thru the power of self-willed delusion & real feelings for this person/eldritch World entity, to love and have a relationship with her.
