Man never stops searching for meaning. When one belief system collapses another rush in to take its place. Darwinism and scientific atheism promised to explain everything without God. But over time they have failed to answer the questions that matter most. Why does anything exist at all. Why is the universe ordered. Why does the human mind search for purpose instead of accepting randomness. Scripture already explains this tension when it says that God “has set eternity in the heart of man” Ecclesiastes 3:11. Man cannot live long believing that life is accidental. Now we see the shift. People are no longer comfortable with randomness. The idea of a fine tuned simulation is not really science. It is a quiet confession that order exists but they do not want to admit a Designer. So instead of saying God created all things they say something created the system. It is the same hunger for origin just wrapped in modern language. The Bible explains this pattern clearly. “Professing themselves to be wise they became fools” Romans 1:22. When men refuse to glorify God as Creator they do not stop believing. They simply redirect belief. They exchange the truth for another explanation that feels safer to their pride. Even this simulation idea admits what atheism denied. That the universe runs on laws. That reality is structured. That intelligence stands behind order. Scripture already said this long ago. “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork” Psalm 19:1. Creation speaks whether men want to listen or not. But man will always stop short. Instead of bowing before the Creator he invents another layer between himself and God. Paul said they “worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator” Romans 1:25. Today the creature is not wood or stone but code and consciousness. This is why the quote feels accurate. Atheism cannot survive forever because it offers no meaning. But unbelief will not disappear either. It simply changes its costume. What Scripture shows us is that without Christ the mind keeps circling truth without ever arriving. “Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” 2 Timothy 3:7. The world is not moving closer to God by becoming more intelligent. It is moving closer to admitting design while still refusing the Designer. And that tension will only grow until the day every explanation collapses before the One who made all things by His word.

Annual reminder that Home Alone is a Christian movie. Watch this scene very carefully, where Kevin is drawn to the beauty and warmth of the church. As he walks inside to "O Holy Night", he hears the words "Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!" A sanctuary candle passes across the foreground, indicating that Christ is present inside the church. Kevin then has an encounter with a Christ figure: Old Man Marley. Kevin makes a confession to him, then shakes his hand and we see a bandage on Marley's hand. It's never explained why his hand is wounded, but earlier in the movie we saw that his hand was actually pierced ALL THE WAY THROUGH — like the nails driven through Christ's hands on the cross. At the end of the movie, Kevin cannot save himself from the burglars, and so Marley appears again to rescue him. Home Alone is a Christian movie.
