scaffolds sometimes need to be… more scaffolded too. For most students, the A4 sheets of vocab as a guide is fine but some may want them chunked like the second picture. Give students the choice for what format & level of scaffolding they need :) #ellchat

@swishaub Good question! Sentences in the game SEIS came from a co-created class story. Those on the butcher paper were teacher created based on specific language needed to access grade level text. Each teacher asked a series of engaging questions as a strategy for teaching vocabulary.
