I don’t think people understand just how bad the end of life care crisis is about to become. The youngest boomers are in their 60s. There aren’t enough assisted living beds in this country and even if there were there aren’t enough staff. It’s ridiculous expensive to die slowly.

since I'm engaging in generational warfare today: millenials are so butthurt over facebook memes their boomer parents liked about avocado toast in 2014 that when gen z women talk about millenials grooming them, these 36 year olds genuinely think the 22 year olds are punching down

@jzottt It's hard for me to see love or regret in their responses when so many of them are whole-heartedly calling younger women liars, prudes, and ungrateful. They seem more offended than anything

And if you peel back more layers, you can see a love for women, especially those after us, under the whole reaction. It’s like when ur parents shut down in the face of criticism, but it’s bc it’s hurts to realize they didn’t align with their OWN self image, including failing you.

I’m sure it has been. I hope it helps to know that what you guys are observing doesn’t actually reflect a disdain towards you all, but actually a very difficult SELF reckoning with now having a clearer understanding of what our role was in the progression of women’s liberation.
