My sweet Baby Ruth crossed the bridge yesterday with help from a vet. It doesn't quite feel real yet, it keeps coming in waves when I see things that me and her used to do. She was mostly blind and deaf so I had to carry her pretty much everywhere and I broke down last night when I didn't have my girl to carry into our apartment. I remind myself I have to prep her meal cause she barely had 5 teeth left if that so I always had to soak it with water and mix wet food and supplements into it so it was specially made, but I don't have a dog to prepare the food for anymore. I walk into my apartment expecting to see her come out of our bedroom down the hallway with tail wagging cause even though she could barely hear or see, she always knew when I was home and she'd come find me like someone walking and reaching through the dark until she'd smell my hand and light up with full body wiggles. I keep waiting for her whine or her old lady bark, or to find a pee puddle on the floor cause she was incontinent, something to tell me that this isn't real and it's all a horrible dream I just need to wake up from. But it's not, it's real, and it sucks. She's flying with the angels now and romping through meadows of flowers with not a care in the world, all the treats and love we gave her while here are incomparable to the royal treatment she's getting now, but I know she left happy. I never in my life ever wanted a small dog, but that small dog stole my heart and took a piece of it with her, I will never regret the time I got to spend with her and the love and bond we were able to share. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥💕 Credit : Sierra Stephan Join : @Beyond_theleash

RIP sweet Cecilia Bunnerina (Bun) who passed away 2.30 pm NZ time following a seizure. Furcuz Bun was 15 years old, found as a tiny kitten in Dubai, travelled the world, in 2017 was hit by a car but miraculously survived, using up 8 of her 9 lives. Run free sweet Bun #otrb 💔

Today, with a heavy heart, I saw my dog Nip off on his final journey. He was almost 14yrs old, a gentle soul and my faithful friend. I will love you and miss you always, be at peace. That'll do Nip.....that'll do boy 💔😪
