@_Afcbanks Saka looks a lot leaner here and lighter. Think this frame is best suited to his game and needs to try and get back to that body type
English

@mfc_mrpage really hope Timber is fit interested in seeing how them two battle it out 1v1 and if he can handle Doku
English

Just do a knee slide man, wtf is this
Connor@Connor_LFC8
Ekitikes celebrations are always so cold😮💨
English

@CFC_Dubois depends what we win this year, i think an established high profile forward player would be great
then I wouldn't be against younger talent in midfeild. Don't forget what got us to this point in the first place a young hunger team and manager goes a long way
English

@Darreng85031479 i was thinking this🤣 surely would have been quicker for him to rap the finger and run to the ambulance
English

LW ~ Gordon (Reluctantly) / Eze
AM ~ Øde / Nwaneri
RW ~ Saka / Madueke / Dowman
CF ~ Alvarez / Havertz / Merino
Alvarez can play multiple positions too
Out ~ Gyok, Trossard, Martinelli, Jesus
In ~ Alvarez, Gordon, Ethan back, Max bigger role
ً@ceebadx
If gyok wasn't in the equation I'd want him more. Him and Havertz makes too much sense as cf rotation. Wish they would just sell gyokeres man
English

Valverde and Rice are some obvious picks, but get me a team of David Raya I’m trying to see something
UEFA Champions League@ChampionsLeague
If you had to build a team with 11 copies of the same player, which player would you pick?
English

@Cfc_Kemboi I recently said this either introduce a winter break like the other teams or reduce the fixtures in the build up to knockout stages of the competitions
Uefa won't give a shit if we keep failing only the PL will if we keep getting smoked
English

-Newcastle faced Chelsea 3 days before they faced Barcelona ,City Faced west ham 3 days before facing Real Madrid ,Chelsea faced Newcastle & Tottenham faced Liverpool.
Barcelona and the other teams rested most of their players while facing mid clubs over the weekend , then play tired prem teams. The intensity in the EPL is damn deadly & draining compared to other leagues.
Carol Radull@CarolRadull
Best league in the world?
English

@TJayyyy_1 we haven't seen this type of ball in the prem for 2 years is this what tekky players look like
English

HOW DO YOU EVEN COMPETE AGAINST THAT??????
🥤𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬@_Afcbanks
PSG got athletes who are technicians it’s literally impossible to press them man to man
English

@_Afcbanks I was thinking this last night watching them, most of them look small, skinny and fragile but all have pace, power and high IQ very talented team
Only weakness looks like the goal keeper and set pieces
English

@CFCMods Spurs are having a terrible season in the league so I am not even sure how they made it to this point anyway
Newcastle annoyingly played well but conceded really naive goals that cost them heavily 7-2 is harsh 4-2 would have been more acceptable
Chelsea - poor, City poor
English

The one player in football that if he could shoot he would be Top 3 players in the world minimum
!@kaiiesque
Jeremy Doku All Chances Created vs Real Madrid
English

@SxrgioSZN I haven't watched enough of City in general play and over 90 mins to know but what has he actually done wrong? has he been that bad?
I thought he was doing ok first half of the season
English

Think you look at him in a different more positive light when you don’t hold him in the regard of a franchise player, which I don’t think he is
AFC_Adi@AFC_Adi06
Saka vs Leverkusen (H)
English

@EBL2017 exactly the premier league being great is a handicap for the english sides physically. PSG had the week off before facing Chelsea we need to either re think the schedule or allow at least the winter break so the players can recoup
no one will care until the english teams fail
English

Arsenal battered Leverkusen. Their own imbalance caused themselves issues in first leg and they still drew away with minimal discomfort.
Liverpool also caused their own issues in Turkey. Imbalance. And it was still a game where they easily could have scored 2 or more. Slot should rectify it tonight, though. If he does, Liverpool are likely to progress.
Newcastle should have beaten Barca by 3 at St. James’. Tough game tonight but still expect them to cause Barca some issues.
Chelsea individuals (first leg) + squad (second leg) cost them in a tight game dynamics wise. The xG proved that over the two legs.
Madrid beat City, but they can do that to any team on any day.
Looking at it on such a broad scale and categorising English teams and European teams into one category is illogical. It’s what people who don’t pay attention to each game do. They’re casuals who don’t actually analyse all of these games. If you do watch the games, you know that you cannot paint the entire situation with such a vague answer (i.e., technical quality, tactics, etc).
Everyone worth their salt knows the Premier League is the crème de la crème. But don’t get it twisted - that’s not something to be proud of. The league blows every other league out of the water financially. Of course it’s going to be the best. I wish it wasn’t so we could preserve the competitiveness of the non-elite clubs around Europe, but that is the reality.

Why do we think English sides have struggled in the UCL KOs then?
