@bugsandfishes I couldnt bring myself to price my dad's things. Some guy walked up to me asking how much something was. I directed him to my sisters 5 ft away. He got an attitude saying "you're having a sale and cant tell me how much this is?" I told him no but I could let him know to leave.

When your parents die you will, if you're lucky, be an adult with a home full of your own possessions and all of a sudden you have to fairly swiftly deal with your parents home and all of their possessions and you absolutely cannot cram all of the latter into the former.

@AllieJade1 When people say there's always been bad drivers, its just posted online for us all to see how, I disagree. Her attitude of "I can do whatever I want" is so widespread & has increased the amount of bad drivers. This was so rare to see back in the 90s, 00s. I hate driving now.

And in today’s episode of Parking Garage Karen, we have a particularly ornery one, who is completely losing her mind because the guy driving the right way down a one-way traffic flow refuses to back up or go around her and give her the right of way. Unlike these Karen types, most normal people would realize they went the wrong way, say “Sorry buddy, I need to do a three-point turn,” and handle it. Instead, she expects this guy to reverse or go around her so she can keep driving down the one-way the wrong way. The fella going the right way at one point even asks the bystanders, to confirm he's in the right. Maybe I’ve got a bit of a militant streak, but at that point I’d just kill the engine, and casually sit on the hood of my car, and scroll on my phone until she either backed up or turned around. Would that be mean?🤨 Or would that be out Karen'ing a Karen?😂

@TheEXECUTlONER_ Intersections, traffic circles, stop signs , turning signals, side & rear view mirrors & my personal favorite - making a left/right hand turn correctly (meaning not crossing the oncoming traffic lane to get into the correct lane are basic things many have no idea how to do.

This man finds it extremely aggravating when you are in a left hand turn lane and the car in front stops at the white line. He says you pull into the middle of the intersection and take control of the intersection and wait there. If oncoming traffic doesn’t let up, you turn as the light is about to turn red and oncoming traffic stops. Many said that defensive driving classes tell you to stay behind the white line until you can make a turn and have a safe exit and this causes accidents. He says that any CDL class will tell you to take control of the intersection and pull up to the middle of it, that way everyone isn’t waiting three rotations to get through the light. What do you do? How do you drive? Do you stay behind the white line or do you pull into the intersection?

@kingruss_uk @miyawakissme I had my 3rd daughter 7 yrs after my first 2. Her former Dr tried to pressure us to get her to a speech therapist at 18 months cause she wasnt talking enough. The pressure to get kids to talk as fast/much as possible from birth is a joke. Shes 8 and talks like an 8 yr old should.

@miyawakissme My daughter had progressive mutism for about 4 months when she was 4. It Was horrible. When she started talking again I asked her why she didn’t speak. She just said “ I didn’t want to”. Some kids don’t speak for years!

Hey there @Schopptalk it's embarrassing that you think it's okay to openly admit that you didn't watch the hockey game because you had to record a fantasy football podcast in May. You're paid a lot of money to be one of two afternoon hosts to discuss sports with the city of Buffalo. And yet you're more concerned with your fantasy football than the most important playoff hockey game around here in 20 years. I've said before that I don't think you do a great job anymore because your life is consumed with fantasy football but this is a new low. You have a job most people would covet and you take it for granted. If you want to talk fantasy football 24/7, Go get a 3-hour show on 1520. I feel bad that Chris has to cover for you on a daily basis and make you look better than you deserve because you're too caught up in your podcast which I'm sure doesn't get a tenth of the listenership your 3 to 6 radio program gets.
