כשפורסמו הטענות הראשונות בעניין שושנה סטרוק עשיתי את הבדיקה הבסיסית כעיתונאי. מה שמצאתי לא נתן בסיס לטיפול עיתונאי, ולמיטב ידיעתי כך העלו גם בדיקותיהם של רבים מעמיתיי, בהם גם לא חובבים גדולים של השרה סטרוק.
להבנתי זו גם היתה המסקנה של גופי החקירה. (שופט שראה את התיק בדיון על הצא״פ כתב: ״החשד הסביר דל ביותר, אם לא למטה מכך״) את שושנה לא זכיתי לשמוע אבל ניכר היה שהיא סובלת מאד והיה כאב גדול לשמוע ולקרוא את כאבה ואת הסבל שלה. אבחנות מתחום הנפש אשאיר למומחים. אבל מי שמכיר מקרים דומים יודע כמה הם מורכבים.
על אורית סטרוק עצמה אספר, שהיא לא התעסקה בלהגן על שמה הטוב באותם רגעים שבהם דמה נשפך ברשת, אלא היתה ממוקדת בלהגן על שלומה של בתה. ולנסות לסייע לה ממרחק בכל דרך.
איני חוקר כליות ולב, אבל ממה ששמעתי בזמן אמת, ניכרו דברי אמת וניכר הצער שאין לו סוף.
אורית סטרוק היא בעיניי הפוליטיקאית עם הפער הגדול ביותר בין הדימוי הציבורי לדמות האמיתית והמורכבת. אבל זה להזדמנות אחרת.
כי ברגע כזה, גם מי שרואה בה יריבה פוליטית ואידיאולוגית מרה, יכול לגייס את מינימום האנושיות, ואם לא להשתתף בצער, פשוט לשתוק. אין לכם מושג. וגם לי אין. אבל יש לי מושג שאין לי מושג. וזה מספיק כדי לעצור את הריקוד האכזרי על הדם ברשת.

This is an argument you typically hear from pro-Palestinians whitewashing violence against Israelis and Jews. It is pure deflection. Nothing justifies settler terrorism, not even the fact that it pales in comparison to Arab terrorism, or that some of the claims may be exaggerated. There should be ZERO TOLERANCE for this monstrous behavior.
Every incident needs to be fully investigated with full due process and full accountability. Full stop.

As so many people, including so many who ought to know much better, are falling for the "Very Violent Settlers" storyline, here's a very brief clarification on what's actually happening on the ground. Palestinians are constantly and violently provoking and attacking their Jewish neighbors: an 18-year-old young man named Yehuda Sherman was killed just this morning when a Palestinian driver deliberately ran him over. Palestinians are also constantly seizing lands illegally, and on the rare occasion that Israel's highly sympathetic courts bother enforcing the law and demanding that they leave, they ignore the orders and grab away. Meanwhile, a battery of "human rights organizations," paid for by the same deep-pocketed NGOs paying for all the progressive chaos worldwide, are spinning out reports accusing Israel of unspeakable crimes, often marking Palestinian terrorists eliminated while murdering Jewish civilians as innocent victims of settler violence. And thanks to a Biden-administration appointed official, these reports are then copy-pasted, word for word, and presented as official American policy. When Palestinians go on murderous sprees, no one registers a complaint. When PA police officers blatantly violate the Oslo Accords, it's all good. But when a Jews respond to constant attacks and provocations by rising up and defending themselves, everyone, including a large swaths of American Jews, hurry to condemn them as dangerous lunatics. This kind of retardation doesn't work anymore: Jews have every right to defend themselves from murderous Palestinian violence everywhere, but especially in their ancestral homeland of Judea and Samaria.

The main reason that Jews—or, as Dr. Aldawan calls them, “jews” (she carefully avoids capitalization for some reason)—fund Hatzola ambulances to serve everyone in the neighborhood, not just Jews, is to reduce dismal NHS response times from over 10 minutes to 3 minutes, thereby saving lives. But avoiding bigots like Aldawan, one of many NHS staff outed as bloodthirsty terrorist supporters in recent years, are another reason.

Jews are the only group who operate their own ambulances (hatzola) and police (shomrim) in Britain. They do this in 14 other countries, mostly European. In the US, Hatzola has been accused of tending to jews while non-jews have died at the same scene. Why the apartheid?

A few days ago, Mario was whining about being “wrongly accused” of being anti-Western and anti-Jewish. Today, he’s pushing the “Jewish supremacy” narrative.
He knows exactly what happened to Jews in Arab countries, including Lebanon, where he’s from. He knows the hatred, the language (son of apes and pigs), the calls for their annihilation. But when Jews want a state to protect themselves, and when they annex land that was used to attack them, suddenly that’s “Jewish supremacy.”
I told you, this isn’t random. It’s a pattern: anti-Western, anti-Jewish messaging dressed up as commentary.
