"September will see the launch of new E10 fuel at petrol stations despite 600,000 cars possibly being incompatible with the new solution, The Express reports." They already have it at my petrol station with no unleaded alternative. If you're car is 2011 or older they don't GAF.

@SimoneSCG @squeakygrump Super unleaded (premium) is now E5. Unfortunately it cost a pretty penny more! Check the website if your worried about your car though cause I think a lot of car companies have been compatible since 2000. I know Citroen has been at least 😊

@squeakygrump I know, it sucks. I'm all for more efficiency but to completely cease provision of an alternative isn't a practical solution for a lot of households, especially post-covid. People who may have bought a newer car suddenly can't or have other priorities.
