@EvgenyFeldman Ну мне он кажется куда лучшим кандидатом для Техаса чем Крокетт. Он наводит мосты, старается находить общий язык, тогда как она задирает противников. В Техасе больше республиканцев чем демократов, если с ними не стараться выстроить диалог, то победы не видать.

If you have a period of strong population growth (such as in the postwar years) with emissions holding somewhat steady, that would look like a drop on the per-capita graph, but not on the graph of absolute emissions.

China’s CO₂ emissions have been flat or falling for 21 months. While the West is still debating, China quietly broke the ‘you can’t grow and cut emissions’ myth. Cue the comments explaining why this ‘doesn’t count’, ‘is fake’, or ‘will reverse any second now’. #Bettrification
