I got my husband really good @bigtimerush tickets for his 30th birthday. He loves them. Has vintage concert shirts and magazines and met them and all that jazz. This man, 100% seriously, turned to me in the car and asked, “Will you try to get chosen as one of the Worldwide girls?”

I guess this is what it feels like when your country is divided straight down the middle. Definitely nervous about whatever comes next.

My neighbor just put out a giant American flag in front of their house and it’s so sad because I can’t tell what that means anymore. The country feels so divided that I can’t even tell the statement they’re trying to make.

the fact it’s very old white people and we live in a southern state makes me really want to lean one way and I recognize the judgement on my part, but… the fact that that’s how my brain automatically groups and differentiates the two sides is telling.
