The utter decimation of bus services in recent years is the last bonfire of the firesale that was bus deregulation back in 1986. It cannot be overstated how massive its impact has been on the cost and quality of living for millions of people. This is GREAT policy.

Except of course what Lee omits to tell you to try and make an informed point despite being Reform welfare spokesperson is that If the circumstances of the couple were identical the working couple would - possibly be entitled to UC and help with some housing costs, - PIP as it is non means tested and payable to those who work too (Total can be up to around £194.60/week (enhanced both components) depending on the assessment - child benefit as would be payable £27.05pw So £221.65 without housing addition over and above their wages = £11525.80pa which is equivalent to the tax / NI paid. Comparing 'different' scenarios is just manipulating a system to make a point - ie a couple with no disabilities not working would receive no where near the stated amount

This queue is mostly made up of private vehicles. The die-hard car brains who believe it is still a sensible idea to drive in the city should be required to pay per mile. This congestion significantly impacts essential services, trades, & buses. Bottom line, it's selfish.

Today... Peter woke up campers with a song. Instead of cries of shut up, they joined him. En masse they marched down the coast rattling through a medley of angry hits, trampling over anyone who got in their way, until Cannes, where a spaceship took them before police could.

Can we just take a second to really take this in? How on earth has it come to this? Where a man can performatively ‘admit’ to sex with a child on an international platform but then couch it as some form of reflection or responsible accountability exercise - whilst deliberately leaning on our terrible, useless, outdated sexual offences act and age of consent? This man was 30 years old, and at the height of his fame - when he made an active choice to have sex with a child. I would use much stronger language here but he’s deliberately leaning on our consent laws, that a 16 year old child can technically consent to sex - meaning that he could technically have ‘consensual sex’ with a school age child. His admission and his disgusting performative ‘progressive’ ‘reflection’ that he is ‘exploitative’ makes my effin skin crawl. If this is not a predator in full swing, I do not know what is. This man is admitting to sex with children and no one is going to do a thing about it. Absolutely atrocious. Our laws need urgently updating to ensure no adult can ever have technically consensual sex with a child. No adult should ever want that; and no child should ever be exposed to it. End.
