Media reports say that some of the Ghanaians who have been brought back home at state expense were seeking asylum in South Africa.
These asylum seekers normally claim that their countries of origin are unfit for them usually because they are persecuted for their religious or political beliefs.
My question is, can there be a justification for spending the taxpayers’ resources on bringing asylum seekers back home?
