@PrakharS96 @ShopifyDevs I'm really liking .dev so far. It just feels a bit detached and doesn't really build personal relations that well. More formal. More structure.

Went through all our contacts and identified 49 agencies and agency type orgs that have onboarded merchants onto our app. Brainstorming ways to engage them. Wondering if anyone has done something creative outside of the traditional affiliate deal.

Sometimes Shopify support feels contradictory. We’ve been denied the read_users scope for our public app - because it’s “only for custom or finance-embedded apps.” But multiple public apps in our same category are already using this :/ @ShopifyDevs @Shopify @liam_at_shopify

Building TxtCart to $2.6M ARR taught me something nobody warns you about… (If you also think manifestation is a lie, follow me.)

@TalktoHenryJ Love the post - and the reasoning makes sense. Build for one, sell to everyone. I think you'll make it work! As for us, it's time to jack up prices. We already do Slack as default. The value is there, I just suck at putting a price to it. Time to fix mistakes :)

Had an interesting talk with a fellow Shopify app owner. I told him I want to get to $1M ARR plus. He asked me a good question “What do you think your skillset it more suited for: 1. 8000 customers at $10 a month 2. 800 customers at $100 a month Or 3. 80 customers at $1000 a month” At the time I said I would probably go after 2 because it seemed most feasible for a Shopify app but the more I think about it… my skillset is for sure more set for 3 and I do think 8 customers at $1000 a month is feasible. The big question is what kind of features would I need to add to iziGift to make it worth $1000 a month or more. I have some thoughts but anything come to you guys mind from a gift card, rewards or loyalty standpoint that’s worth paying $1000 a month for? Also, attaching this because it’s a big part of why I feel getting the 80 customers is easy enough. Anyone doing over $20M would be the target audience. That’s a ~3% get rate….. I can do that. Time to go to work!

@hustlin_heev One of my merchants thought that *feedback* meant feedback about the listing itself. (oops) One fine evening he sends me a doc and tells me this is what I would look for. Changed it the next minute and never looked back.

So...how scalable and reliable is our underlying technology, @Shopify functions? ~500m-750m (millions!!) function runs in the last 30 days, 0 errors. Expect this number to ramp up significantly over BFCM!
