Gotta laugh at the inability to score a penalty really. Sort of sums it all up. Give someone a load of money and a free pass at certain aspects of the game to contribute in pure output and he can’t even do that.

I recon this squad is as bad as the 15/16 squad was. It’s all over the place and can’t compete playing 2 a week. It’s going to take another 4/5 major players to come in again.

Full back on both sides is a massive issue in this Liverpool team. Szoboszlai has struggled here and I think we might be kidding ourselves with Kerkez, he’s just not that good.

even if results and/or performances are not great, there's basically a zero percent chance we sack a league winning manager that we spent ages deciding on, mid-season, while we sit 4th, so I think it's a waste of energy to call for his head after every game.

I feel for Arne. But there just isn't room for sentiment now. It probably would be a little unlike us to make the change now but if they think Xabi is the ideal man then they have to move.

Legendary status imo is based on the story of the player. Joined 2004 and went on to become a massive cog for the club that won everything, got 90+ points 3 times and reached 3 CL finals. Thats a Legendary story many could only wish for at Liverpool

I know im in the minority, but this changes nothing for me. Modern day legend who won everything with us, wants to move on and try something new at another of the biggest clubs in the world, best of luck and thanks.
