One of the funniest things is Liverpool thinking they can take Olise from Bayern Munich. He’s not at Crystal Palace anymore he’s at Bayern, a club bigger than you in every way. It’s like someone thriving at Real Madrid and suddenly you think, “oh yeah, we can tempt him away.” The reality is simple: ambition, status, project, money, and the platform all matter. Bayern offers elite competition, the Champions League, and a team built around winning. So what exactly would motivate him to leave that for Liverpool? It’s not just about money or history, it’s about platform, security, and personal growth. At Bayern, Olise has stability, high-level teammates around him, and a tactical setup that fits his strengths. He’s being developed to dominate games, and he knows that the next few seasons could define his peak. Moving to Liverpool would mean rebuilding influence, competing for minutes, and adjusting to a system that may or may not maximize him the same way. Even if Liverpool is a big club, in this case it’s a step sideways at best, or even a small risk in terms of career progression. Bayern gives him fame, trophies, and individual recognition, and that’s hard to beat especially when you’re already thriving and on the radar for elite honors. Basically, this isn’t just about ability it’s about context, timing, and the project around him. Olise has no reason to leave a club that’s already shaping itself around him just for a club that can’t offer the same certainty or trajectory.

@RonnieInteL Having a map lead is crazy. I’d rather them do a BO9 / BO7 and losers get nothing. We already established the CDL will never truly make it “competitive” but remove the veto systems for teams that come from losers. Make winners mean something. Losers choosing 2,3,4 is wild to me

Honestly the only way to fix the format is to have only Challengers and CDL grand finals on the Sunday in a BO9. CDL will forever keep one single series as a 50/50 win percentage is the perfect thing for their product as there’s no guarantee on who wins.

FaZe didn't win because of bracket cheese. They played lights out. That's why they won. It's important to remember that when saying the format should change going forward.

Gonna be lots of talk about finals format. I think it does need to go back to 2 Bo5, not only so WB team has an advantage but i think having the same amount of Hardpoints and Overloads in a Bo7 isn’t ideal.
