(Continuation series) but sometimes that wasn’t the case, I don’t think new fans would understand that. Think it’s easier to understand Bo9/Bo11 long term if they want to chase simplicity

Genuine question for newer CDL viewers, do you guys know how Continuation Series’ work? If not. I’ll explain it to you using game modes from OG CoD Competitive: in my opinion, this is the best way tournaments should be ran: ( LONG THREAD) 1.⁠All Matches, except for the Championship Match, will be Best of 5 Games. 2.⁠All Best of 5 Games Matches will use the Domination Game Mode for Games 1 & 4, the Search & Destroy Game Mode for Games 2 & 5, and the Blitz Game Mode for Game 3. 3.⁠If the Teams scheduled to play each other in the Championship Match also played each other in the Winners Bracket, their Match will expand to Best of 11 Games, include the previous Match results, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if the Winners Bracket Team beat the Losers Bracket Team 3 Games to 0 in the Winners Bracket, the Best of 11 will resume with Game 4 and the Winners Bracket Team leading 3 Games to 0. If the Teams scheduled to play each other in the Championship Match didn’t play each other in the Winners Bracket, an initial Best of 5 Games Match must be played. If the Team that came from the Winners Bracket wins the initial Match, they will win the Event. If the Team that came from the Losers Bracket wins the initial Match, the Match will expand to Best of 11 Games, include the initial Match results, and pick up where that Match left off. For example, if the Losers Bracket Team beat the Winners Bracket Team 3 Games to 0 in the initial Match, the Best of 11 will resume with Game 4 and the Losers Bracket Team leading 3 Games to 0. @dombh3 @Rebel_ I don’t think he’s arguing “OpTic would’ve won if they came from losers” he’s arguing for the people that are saying that or anything similar. The whole “fabricated” story about “what about VG FaZe” doesn’t apply as they still lost coming from losers. It’s just the format sucks

This whole “no one complained about the format for FaZe during Vanguard” argument doesn’t check out because 1) people have complained about the formal since the inception of the CDL And 2) FaZe came out of the losers bracket during VG 4/5 LAN events and still lost.

@lfczac07 @RonnieInteL Doesn’t make sense to have a map lead unless it was a continuation series. Or two Bo5/7. Ideally make finals the only series on Sunday truthfully. But if not, decrease the “power” a losing team has when it makes the run. A winning team should have complete veto control truthfully
