This sweet little kitten was delivered to our gate suffering from a rectal prolapse. Turning an animal away in this condition is a death sentence - we simply cannot do that. 😢 Early veterinary intervention is vital in cases like this, and little Robin has already undergone surgery and is now receiving ongoing treatment and care. The charity is struggling and we can only pray that this will not be our last Christmas. 😭 Over 2000 precious lives depend on us, including many disabled and abused dogs and cats that call the sanctuary their home. They are all lost without us. Just now a critical dog that was hit by a train arrived at our gate with a limb hanging off, our team are currently battling to save this life. The essential supplies we rely on to run our two on-site clinics are dangerously depleted. These clinics are always busy - treating emergencies, performing surgeries, and providing ongoing care for animals who have already suffered more than any living being should. On a daily basis, we use a huge amount of dressings, manuka honey, and other products.
