Probably a hot take amongst my followers, but honesty, I'm OK with this. Let me explain. Even if the game is peak, or Anita did close to nothing, or the game doesn't have any egregious radical feminism, I'm OK with the review bombing & refund requests. And that is because people like Anita have no business being in the gaming industry. She has admitted not being a gamer. She's has disrespected gaming time and time again. She has ridiculed and defamed gamers. And I'm supposed to give a pass to game studios who hire someone who straight up hates me and calls me a racist nazi bigot because I believe she lies about GameGate? Nah. Game studios need to put gamers before activists. Gaming before activism. People like Anita need to be chucked out of the gaming space, and if we need to bully game studios for them to get it into their thick skulls that they should respect their customer base enough to not bring in someone who trashes us on a daily basis, so be it.
