Had to check my hearing after @kanecornes stated this morning he doesn’t rate Hugo Garcia and that he’s played one good game. 21 year old who is the 47th rated player in the comp this year and 4th for players under 23 years old. 10th for average clearances and over 6 score involvements a game which is top 60. Thank god @davidking34 called him out to some degree. You’ve had some shockers mate but this might top them all.

Robert’s looks good but is more of an accumulator (not special), Caddy looks like he’ll be a star but Robey, Farrow, Sharp, Day-Wicks seriously? Excited by them? I just don’t get it. I’d imagine you don’t watch much of either team which is fair.

I just don’t know how much better those players you mentioned can get. Tauru is in and out of the side, so is Wood. Caddy has shown more and is younger than Owens. Nas already a superstar.

I left out Travaglia (19), Hastie (20) and Banfield (18) as they’ve not shown enough yet but you’ve used Robey & Sharp who have played a couple decent games. What I’m saying is no matter where you measure we are in better shape.

Similar to Brisbane in their draft years picking up Bailey, Rayner, McCluggage, Berry all in a short span building their core.

I think we will have a crack in the next couple of years and most of our best players are young. Don’t see how the bombers will be in better shape.

Philipou is 21 and was dominating end of 2024 before injury. Now building fitness again and has shown a higher ceiling than most you named. NWM already a superstar.
