The Brisbane lions will be without: - Dayne Zorko (calf) - Ryan Lester (calf) - Eric Hipwood (Knee) - Jarrod Berry (calf) - Oscar Allen (foot) - Jack Payne (knee) - Linc McCarthy (Hamstring) - Noah Answerth (Concussion) - Dan Annable (shoulder) 8 of the 9 walk into the lions best 23 with Dan Annable not far off. Every team has injuries but Brisbane are having a rough run. Linc McCarthy will miss 6 weeks now after doing more damage in the gym. Ty Gallop returns this week which is a positive in all of it. Noah Answerth is listed as 1 more week but the lions take concussions very serious but all roads aim to next week against Fremantle Dayne Zorko and Jarrod Berry both injuries are dragging out and understandably frustrating fans I think it’s safe to say Zorko will be week to week seeing how he pulls up from training and Jarrod Berry is very close. The bad news for the lions is the bye isn’t until round 15 one of the later teams that have a bye. #AFLFantasy

@DRCSCmedia I think most are replaceable if it’s a sole injury but the toll of all being out is huge. Answerth is the only logical replacement for starce so not having him out there hurts. Zorko, Lester and Answerth all out together throws the defence around more than people realise.

@MatthewGrimston Hey mate, Berry is probably the lions best defensive player and gets back a lot to help and is great overhead. Answerth is very important now with Starcevich leaving Fletcher needs to get going for sure I agree

@DRCSCmedia Theyve won 2 premierships without Allen, Annable and Mccarthy, Answorth is a fringe player, Berry is good but replaceable, Hipwood is good but replaceble, Lester, Payne and Zorko out hurts. I think Fletcher needs to step up, has really dropped off this year

@darcysc Backline has been under the pump all season with injuries, suspensions. Imagine having all available. Curtin back is the right move, not ready yet, but time to release the shackles on a few in living in the shadows the past few seasons. They need their make or break moment.
