@_NickT__ If we win all remaining games we’ll have a .513 P% which likely leaves us picking 10-12. My guess is we win 3 of our final 5 and end up with a .488 P% and pick 9th. If we shit the bed against CHI & BOS and lose as expected to NJ and WSH we have a .451 P% and pick 4th or 5th

@TheHyveZ @BoltsBreakdown @JFreshHockey Buffalo is currently 1st in the Atlantic and tied for 1st in the Eastern Conference. Tampa would like to surpass them for seeding purposes.
English

@BoltsBreakdown @JFreshHockey Curious why this game matters for a bolts fan? Home ice?
English

If Detroit wins, they're back to a coin flip to make the playoffs. If they lose, they're down to an almost 1 in 4 chance.

calder vote has to be unanimous at this point my god

NHL Game Score Impact Card for New York Islanders on 2026-03-26:
English

Sennecke, Kindel, Demidov have all been tremendous but I honestly don't know how any of them get a first place vote over Schaefer. He is that far ahead of the pack.
Nick@NickZararis
Could Matthew Schaefer win the Calder unanimously? Is that a thing within the scope of plausibility?
English

@bobgrove91 With 12 goals and 57 points now, he’s surpassed his season high in both goals and points with the Pens (11 goals both years and 56 points in his 1st year). Now on pace for 65 points in 77 games. Though, with how he’s playing, he probably gets more than 8 points in the final 10.
English

@bobgrove91 With how weird this year has been in breaking curses like that, we’ll probably put 4 or 5 past him.
English

@drarryaddict I didn’t notice the wand and legitimately thought he was supposed to be doing a frat-flick like gesture to convey his douchiness.
English

I'm crying why is his wand so thin you can barely see it and Harry's gonna use that to defeat voldemort btw

@MikeBartner Hochul will give Bettman another call to ensure you guys get moved up to 4th so you can draft Reid

Me looking at the 14th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.

ZACHA WINS IT IN OVERTIME FOR A HUGE EXTRA POINT!!!! 🚨 His NINTH goal in March 🤯
English

@JFreshHockey I disagree. I feel like this performance has carried his reputation and is why he’s seen as a star despite rather mediocre stats. Like his best 2 regular seasons in terms of GSAx he was 12th and 24th in the league and both times only had ≈10 GSAx in like 60 starts.
English

One goaltending performance that doesn't get talked about enough is Oettinger almost singlehandedly taking down the 2021-22 Flames, saving 14 goals above expected in seven games.

You can go on YouTube and watch footage of the woman screaming before she goes unconscious and her dog frantically running around the backseat barking before they both burn to death because Henry Ruggs decide to drive drunk.
He shouldn’t be allowed to step foot out of prison let alone onto a football field.
Polymarket Football@PolymarketBlitz
Henry Ruggs is eligible for parole in August. He is only 27 years old. Should he try to make a NFL comeback?

@87ppgTracker @kelsey_surmacz4 @scottcwheeler Yeah. I don’t understand why people want to bring him over now, especially when our defense is a dumpster fire. That kind of panic move is what could stunt his development and lead to him never being more than an AHL all-star. Let him cook in the AHL until he’s absolutely ready.
English

@liam_rhea @kelsey_surmacz4 @scottcwheeler Agree and that spread is not the kind of unknown you try to “save your season” with
English

The #LetsGoPens finally have a prospect pool in the top half of the league per @scottcwheeler
What do you think of the rankings?
nytimes.com/athletic/70025…
English

@87ppgTracker @kelsey_surmacz4 @scottcwheeler Fans are definitely overhyping him, but when writers like Wheeler talk about projection, I interpret it as in-between floor and ceiling. Sergei’s floor is AHL star and his ceiling is a top 10 NHL goalie. To project him as an average starting goalie seems like a reasonable median.
English

@liam_rhea @kelsey_surmacz4 @scottcwheeler His ceiling is very high, but the hype in PIT is ridiculous. this ranking is in line with the consensus
English

@kelsey_surmacz4 Do you remember a few weeks ago when Novak crashed into the boards awkwardly (I think maybe during an OT) and it looked like he was holding his knee, but he got back up anyways? Do you know what game that was? I’m trying to figure out if it correlates with his recent slump.
English

Really great news for a team already missing its second-leading point-per-game scorer and best penalty-killer/defensive forward. At least their second-leading goal-scorer is now out, too.
Truly wonderful news. Awesome.
Penguins PR@PenguinsPR
Forward Anthony Mantha is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not practice today.
English

@HunterHodies Yeah. Also not helping that the offense has struggled so far. We were lucky most of the year in that when one aspect of our game was bad the others covered for it. When our goalies sucked, we shot 40% & scored at will. When our offense was anemic, the goalies stood on their heads
English

@ByronMBader Which Penguins goaltending prospect looks the best in your model? Seems like Silovs, Blomqvist, and Murashov will all be fighting for NHL playing time next year.
English

Moysevich is from Belarus and not Russia which maybe made it easier to sign him so early from the Russian leagues. Should be a sneaky good add for the Knights. Perhaps he even sees some NHL games next season.

Vegas Golden Knights@GoldenKnights
✍️ The Golden Knights have signed goaltender Pavel Moysevich to a three-year, entry level contract!! #VegasBorn vgk.io/wkymq
English

@victorthigpen24 @DanHoppOPS The context is still different. That’s Nutting’s excuse to not build around fantastic young cores that could be the foundation for a decade+ of contention. Our core is pushing 40. We have 2, maybe 3 young players who are good enough to be impact players next year.
English

@liam_rhea @DanHoppOPS They do a lot of bad things but being like “eh all these guys will probably get worse we better not sign anyone” could be among the team motto’s along with “we are very optimistic about [whatever year is 3 years from the time they’re saying it]”
English

@victorthigpen24 @DanHoppOPS No. The pirates dismantle teams built around great young players because they’re too cheap to pay them.
English

@liam_rhea @DanHoppOPS Assume a fairly good team will get a lot worse as an excuse to not try is like, something the Pirates would do.
English

@DanHoppOPS Yeah. I’m fine with a few 1-2 year deal trade bait type signings to fill in holes left by our UFAs that aren’t being taken by young guys.
English

@liam_rhea I think though, if they add another Wotherspoon type (Nick Perbix? Kyle Capobianco, Jacob Bernard-Docker?) and the team is bad, they can just include them in the deadline sell-off. But yeah can't see them dealing 1sts or getting into bidding wars for Darren Raddysh or whoever
English

@HunterHodies @DanHoppOPS I mean if it’s getting a young one like Mintukov or Nemec, sure. The Pens shouldn’t be overpaying older UFAs like Raddysh, Murphy, or Andersson though or handing out valuable assets for trade board guys like Ristolainen and Hamilton.
English

@DanHoppOPS I'd still like to add one top-four D if possible, whether it's trade or FA
