@Pichichi41 @limynn117015 @GiangNg76866758 @AshleyKang I disagree, prime Caps was probably one of the best players in League history. He did not carry one, but two EU teams (FNC and G2) in worlds finals, won MSI and was the closest to do a golden road. In a region where reaching Knockout stage was the maximum aspiration for players.

@limynn117015 @GiangNg76866758 @AshleyKang What Caps did is having poor vision in a country of blind people. He is indeed the Western GOAT. The thing is that the western goat doesn't beat a middle of the pack 20 Y.O LCK midlaner that will play 1 year in 1 good team and be relegated to a 6th place team afterwards.

@Awune_ @popsly_lol @IWDominate Prime Caps carried a cooked region into first-ever international trophy (MSI) and two back-to-back worlds finals on 2 different teams. Deserved imho

@2077FWLCT @G2League Bro did you watch the LEC regular season? He was the most consistent player and carried many of the games. Hans may be not the best Adc in the world, but he's far from being the problem in this team.

@G2League Watching Hans Sama play is actual pain. Every fight he’s out of position, every lane he bleeds pressure, every game he finds a new way to be useless. This isn’t a slump — this is a liability. He’s the anchor drowning this team. Wake up and bench him already. #LEC

@NintyPrime @Nate_Brown83 @EdoVro That's still such a shitty business move. Can you actually criticize a company for a bad decision? So people have to go somewhere to update their switch right out of the box if they don't have Internet? It won't kill you to criticize the company

Team Liquid Statement on Recent Social Media Post by DiasLucasBr After a game against the Japanese Rainbow Six team CAG Osaka, one of our Rainbow Six players, Lucas “DiasLucasBr” Dias, made a social media post that featured offensive and insensitive content. Lucas made a regrettable decision in the heat of the moment after a tough loss. He searched for an explosion GIF using generic keywords to express how his team "blew up" during their loss, and in choosing one that matched the intensity of his emotions, he failed to realize how the imagery connected to a painful moment in Japan's history. We believe that there was no malicious intent, only a very serious lapse in judgment and awareness. Immediately after the initial post, Lucas proactively apologized to the players from CAG Osaka for any offense he caused. The CAG Osaka players listened and accepted the apology with grace and understanding and expressed that they saw it as a mistake and not a deliberate insult. While that does not undo the harm this post caused, we believe it reflects the sincerity of Lucas’s mistake, as well as his remorse and character. If we found that Lucas had malicious, prejudiced intentions, we would remove him from the roster. We hold ourselves and our players to a high professional standard and Lucas’s tweet fell short of that standard. This does not reflect who we are as people and as an organization, and it should not define Lucas as an individual in the public perception. We believe that individuals who show a willingness to learn from their mistakes deserve the opportunity to improve themselves, and we are committed to providing Lucas with the training necessary to grow as a person. An honest mistake should not be the end of someone’s career. To the players of CAG Osaka, we want to offer our sincerest apologies for any offence you may have felt. We thank you for the cordial dialogue, your understanding and graceful handling of the situation. To our fans in Japan and the Japanese esports community, we fully understand how this post was disrespectful and hurtful to you. We want to express our sincere regrets and apology that we made you feel this way. We are aware that this moment has been painful for you, and that you have been disappointed with us. We want to reiterate our deep respect for the people of Japan and for their vibrant esports community, and we are fully committed to regaining the trust of the community through our actions as much as our words. To our fans around the world, as Team Liquid is engaging with different communities and cultures, we cannot promise that we will never make mistakes. We promise, however, to take full accountability for our actions and rectify the mistakes we make. In that vein, we will be taking the following actions as a result of this event in order to prevent similar incidents in the future: Financial and Disciplinary Action As part of formal disciplinary measures, Lucas will be fined the equivalent of four months’ salary for failing to meet the standards of professionalism and care we set as an organization. Lucas will also undergo additional media and sensitivity training. Charitable Contribution The Rainbow Six players have committed to donating the entirety of their prize winnings from the Reload tournament to a charitable organization, as a gesture of accountability and goodwill. The funds from Lucas’s fine will be donated to a charitable organization as well. Global Player Education & Discipline Over the next six months, we will conduct mandatory re-training for all Team Liquid players and coaches across every game title. Lucas’s tweet will be added to our onboarding curriculum as a real-world case study to help prevent similar issues in the future. However, due to the controversy generated by this incident, our automotive partner Honda Motors has made the decision not to renew our partnership. Although we regret this outcome, we understand and respect the decision, and extend our thanks to Honda Motors for having been good partners for 6 years. We remain grateful to our community, to our partners, and to those who have engaged with us constructively through this. Thank you for holding us to a high standard. We intend to meet it.

@DeltAStray @TeamLiquid Cancel culture has really washed people’s minds. People deserve a chance to learn and improve from mistakes, we cannot destroy someone’s entire career and dreams over one silly social media post.

@GlastKo @JAlterIsW @Daaku0P Caps stayed even when G2 missed worlds, this whole yapping makes no sense. This time G2 still finished 2nd place and it’s only winter split, they can improve and if they won’t they can still change Jgl/supp.

@JAlterIsW @liamlxtr @Daaku0P If you think it's because g2 is still the strongest team in the west, no. They didnt make it to world's playoffs in 2 years. If you think g2 still dominates eu, no there are currently 3 other teams that could beat g2. I think if g2 doesnt win anything this year, caps will go.

GGWP @KarmineCorp for the Winter Trophee. They are a really strong team, good mix of veteran and rookies with high ELO players surrounded by motivated people carrying Kameto's dream in their heart. In scrim or on stage, our games against them are usually bangers and if we're not playing at 100%, they know how to punish us hard. Yesterday they were in the zone, we did not show up, so we got outplayed and outdrafted. Happens. GG. One week ago we beat them, and they used that anger to stomp us back. They deserve this trip to Korea, and I wish them a successful First Stand adventure. May they come back stronger so it will feel even better to beat them. Regarding our Winter split, well, we wanted some competition and we got it. There is a new Boss in town and it's the best thing to happen to us and to the region. It will challenge us to grind harder and push further. Nice. Exciting times. It's only the beginning of the marathon. Once we are done feeling ashamed and sad, we'll start the prep for Spring. Next split is full of BO3 (fuck BO1) so it's more games on stage. Fearless was a crazy success and should be the only way to play the game, I hope it stays forever. What a great year of competitive League of Legends ahead of us. What a timeline. Thank you KCorp, see you soon!
