Frees converted: Clare 4/5 Tipp 4/9 Banner have been very good and they’ve worked the puck out to their own 45 come very well up the flanks. Too easy at times. Tipp have been really sloppy and I’d expect at least two changes at the break, if not more.

A few people using this result as a stick to beat Cork hurling with, and pointing at their poor results outside the county for past number of years. Point taken, but don’t forget that Ballygunner would hammer teams from most counties, but we never see it because they only ever play provincial champions if it’s outside Munster (and often it’s a Ballyhale). You can’t tell me Gunners wouldn’t easily dismiss clubs from most county championships.
