I thought this conversation was over last year, the only reason why it's still going on is because the black community in America wants to live vicariously through Tyla, she is their beauty standard which is why they can never leave her alone. A mixed-race woman who is undeniably attractive refusing the black label is unforgivable to a lot of black people, that's considered the ultimate rejection because they need people like Tyla to make us feel more 'comfortable' in their blackness.
