Meet a young Palestinian woman and a young Jewish man who are standing together in Israel for peace and democracy for all.

In 2021, on a trip to Israel with J Street, I got to meet with @omdimbeyachad, a grassroots org fighting for peace and justice for Palestinians and Israelis. Today, I met with them to discuss how we can fight for a path forward that prioritizes humanity and lives for generations.

The only way to achieve security to the people of Israel, is to break out of the status quo of endless wars and occupation. Achieving Israeli-Palestinian peace is not only a Palestinian interest, but an Israeli one. Yesterday on MSNBC

Speaking specifically to other Jewish communal leaders right now: The eyes of history are watching us. We cannot allow the desire for revenge to cloud our moral judgment. We must oppose genocide, full stop. We may not agree on anything else. Let's agree on this.

The number of Israelis and Palestinian burying their children is unbearable.

What the Israeli human rights community is saying. I have never felt more pride in this community of heroes. Thank you.
