This is a real gut punch to Republicans. They spent 7 years and millions of dollars trying to repeal Utah’s ban on partisan gerrymandering, and it failed. Utahns came together and fought for fair representation—and Democrats are fighting alongside them.

An absolutely incredible statistic; Trump's $100,000 H-1B fee has actually lost the U.S. government $19.5 million in application fees.

85 people have paid the $100,000 H-1B fee so far, totaling $8.5 million in revenue. But fee revenue from H-1B apps abroad is down $28 million. So the fee — justified by a paper claiming the revenue-maximizing fee was >$100,000! — appears to have lost the government $20 million.

Democrats flip another seat, this time in New Hampshire. Turnout was enormous for a random Tuesday state legislative special election, with nearly half as many voters casting ballots as in the 2024 *presidential* election.
