Honest opinion: KA Govt is spending lakhs of Rupees on top supreme court lawyers to ensure that the actor doesn't come out on bail (Not sure why so much grudge on him) If the govt had similarly appointed well known lawyers for issues like water disputes, education, mandatory Kannada in school / boards, NEET related, land reforms amendments, cinema price tickets etc, our state and Kannadigas would have been in a better position. IT CLEARLY SHOWS LACK OF WILL TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF KANNADIGAS

It all starts in the fc¥king school and then college. Every function in school/collge had(/s) to start with singing and dancing. Let's not even talk about the wedding (it's become 🤮) And office/work place is the next playground for the dancing queens and kings.

If you want to observe Indians' colonial servile mindset, pay attention to how Indian offices and their leaders behave and bend backwards while receiving foreign CEOs/Execs visiting India. In my brief, ten-year long corporate career, cringiest moments have been those when I witnessed the cocktail of tamasha and embarrassment that unfolds when foreign CEOs/Execs visit Indian offices. I once saw a Managing Partner arriving like a bridegroom in the Janavasam car (Baraat vehicle used for weddings) with a retinue of Nadhaswaram players playing ahead of his car. The poor bloke didn't want to be rude and went through all of this patiently, with garlands around his neck in Hyderabad heat. Another time, I saw a foreign CEO being asked to light the lamp while a veena recital was happening. The veena player was an office employee and had to play her instrument to showcase, well, Indian culture. Yes, Indians are known for Vasudeva Kudumbakam (the World Is One Family) and Atiti Devo Bhavah! (Guest is God). But seriously, why would you want to be so insecure and give an overdose of Indian culture in an inappropriate context while foreign guests visit India and enter our offices? Why do we have to go overboard with our hospitality? When Indians go to work outside, none of this drama happens. If that's the case, why do we go overboard while receiving guests? The crucial thing here is that of posture. We don't stand straight and receive others as equals. We bend backwards and showcase our insecurity while receiving others. Can we develop a spine and receive others while standing straight?

Today, a significant meeting was held at Vidhana Soudha with the team of the Consul General of Israel regarding contract job opportunities available in #Israel and various Middle Eastern countries for workers from different sectors, including construction workers from the state. An initial round of discussions was conducted on this matter, and I have instructed the officials to submit a detailed report on the feasibility and implementation of these opportunities. #ShramevaJayathe

I have a feeling Indian economy is going to be in trouble for a while. Developers are going to be in trouble or better put people deploying in new developments will see their projects slow down or stall.

@RahulGandhi @Prasann02936808 Why don't you start a march. This time I will join you. These people will do everything to stay in power. The only way to get rid of them is massive protests.

When butter was demonised, Unilever sold margarine. When tallow was demonised, Procter and Gamble sold Crisco. When eggs were demonised, Kellogg's sold cereal. When red meat was demonised, Cargill sold soy. When raw milk was demonised, Nestle sold infant formula. When leather was demonised, BASF sold PVC. When wool was demonised, ExxonMobil sold polyester feedstock. When animal fat was demonised, the seed-oil industry grew from a niche product to the most consumed food ingredient on earth. Every demonisation of an animal product made a specific group of shareholders very rich. Every one of those products had been eaten by humans for thousands of years without incident. The science changed the moment a substitute existed to sell. Follow the money. The advice will start to make a lot more sense.

@ganeshchetan I don't think it is deep state. It's a bunch of Marwadis/Baniyas wanting access to Karnataka's agri RE and greedy politicians who wanted to unlock the value of their real estate holdings. Kumarswamy should be blamed equally. It is a mechanism to transfer black money Interstate.

Strong center is what we have had for the last 75+ years & look where it has got us. Time for change. Union should just focus on these & be super strong in it: 1) Defence 2) Foreign affairs 3) Finance (only Income tax) and regulation. 4) Interstate coordination & regulations
Abhishek Saxena@Abhishe85465378

@Amara_Bengaluru Nope. A strong Center and dependency of states upon each other makes the Union stronger. Indian federal structure is not like American federal structure. In India, the federal structure is made in a way that it is ultimately India that gets stronger.
