Censire tutte le case sfitte di Firenze, comune pilota. Convocare i proprietari e chiedere spiegazioni sul perché non affittino. Concedere novanta giorni per rimediare. Se il proprietario non obbedisce, requisire l'immobile e assegnarlo a chi pare al Comune, a un canone deciso dal Comune. Lo Stato si prende le chiavi di casa tua, decide lui l'inquilino e decide lui il prezzo. Se non è esproprio, la lingua italiana ha smesso di funzionare. Vincenzo Pizzolo, consigliere AVS e vicepresidente del Consiglio Comunale di Firenze, non si è neppure preoccupato di mascherare la sostanza. L'occupazione abusiva diventa servizio pubblico. Cambia solo l'intestazione della lettera. Ma il dato politicamente più grave non viene da AVS. Viene dal Partito Democratico. Il capogruppo del PD fiorentino non ha respinto la proposta. Non ha detto "siete fuori di testa". Ha detto che è disponibile a discuterne. Ha rilanciato l'idea del censimento. Ha parlato di "incentivi e penalizzazioni". Tradotto dal politichese: prima la carota, poi il bastone, poi la requisizione. È il metodo della rana bollita applicato al diritto di proprietà. La sindaca Funaro, pressata da mezza Firenze, si è affrettata a prendere le distanze: "Sono contraria alle requisizioni". Ha però confermato il censimento. Il che equivale a dire: non ti portiamo via le chiavi, per ora vogliamo solo sapere quante serrature ci sono. Intanto l'ala schleiniana del PD, quella della segretaria nazionale, non ha chiuso affatto la porta. D'altra parte fidarsi delle posizioni del PD richiede una certa dose di ingenuità. Questo è il partito che ha sostenuto per anni la separazione delle carriere dei magistrati, l'ha messa in programma, l'ha rivendicata nei convegni. Poi il governo Meloni l'ha attuata e di colpo è diventata un attacco fascista alla Costituzione. Stessa riforma, stesse norme, stessa Carta: cambia il governo e cambia la posizione. Chi garantisce che il "no" della Funaro alle requisizioni non segua lo stesso percorso? Oggi è contraria perché la proposta viene dalla sua stessa maggioranza ed è imbarazzante. Domani, se il vento cambia, il censimento avrà già fornito gli indirizzi. Ma al di là delle giravolte del PD, c'è un problema che nessuna dichiarazione risolve. L'articolo 42 della Costituzione riconosce e garantisce la proprietà privata. La requisizione esiste nel nostro ordinamento, certo, per calamità naturali, epidemie, emergenze di ordine pubblico. Ma la carenza di alloggi a Firenze non è un terremoto. Non è un'alluvione. Starmer thought he was being clever. He handed his most dangerous rival a platform and a route to Number 10. When Starmer tried to block Burnham's path, 8 votes to 1, Khan publicly backed Burnham. One of them fighting the other. Both of them Fabians. Whoever won, the machine won. Then there's Burnham himself. He ran for leader twice. Lost both times.
