🚨Global Carbon Project 2024 assessment is out! Here are my fav 10 charts (from the 2nd half report😅): 1) Energy use by source. Fossil energy just keep growing; hydro and nuclear declining 😬; but renewables growing exponentially (at this rate they'll triple in a decade)!

@giulio_mattioli @OurWorldInData Reducing demand is fine, but doesn’t get you anywhere near zero emissions. To get there, technological solutions are inevitable. Don’t you agree? (Also: the majority of people on earth have never flown. Shouldn’t they be allowed to? This will increase air traffic.)
