🚨 HOLY SMOKES. President Trump just said Iran's leaders sent him a "present" as part of proving who is really in control The present, related to oil and gas, arrived today, worth a "tremendous amount of money" "They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present, worth a tremendous amount of money." "And I'm not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize." "They gave it to us, and they said they were going to give it, so that meant one thing to me — we deal with the right people." "No, it wasn't nuclear-related. It was oil and gas-related, and it was a very nice thing they did." "But what it showed me is that we're dealing with the right people."

They can’t *give away* the Cadbury’s eggs in the shops. Especially Tesco. No one wants that palm oil laced shite anymore. They’re getting desperate with the offers, at this stage. “WE’LL GIVE YOU 9 MILLION EGGS FOR €3! PLEASE BUY THEM!!😭😭”

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 Just checked and including vat we have 12c rate all night. Would be 8ish cent for the r 4 hour window plan.

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 Yes for the whole night so to charge the full battery costs around €7. And I can top up my 10kwh battery on the same rate and sell back to the grid for 18.5c. I’ve exported 200kwh to the grid so far in March.

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 Solar system was around €11k for 22 panels and a 10kwh battery and a changeover switch. Should pay for itself in in less than 5 years. As someone who lives in a rural area with a disability, it is important to have a source of electricity in the event of long outages like Eowyn.

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 The average commute to work in Ireland is actually shorter than mine. In the past, when I commuted to Dublin I used the train.

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 So I use night rate electricity with a 11pm - 8am or 12am-9pm window for charging as do many EV owners.

@GerHerbert1 @libraryturner You suggest 120-140km range off the 3 hours charge at the low rate used in the calculations. I'd say a lot of people have a round commute of more than that. Even if they're close to it, range anxiety is certainly going to be a factor.

@arseagon @GerHerbert1 I live in rural galway and drive a Hyundai Kona. It’s extremely rare for me to use a public charger because I charge my car at home, while I’m asleep. Or on very sunny days, for free off my solar panels.

@GerHerbert1 Nah, a disingenuous piece that deliberately left that out to suit. Anyone that doesn't live within the commuter belt is tied to at least partial public chargers which changes the calculations completely. Should have been considered to be a valid comparison.

@shaunahair I went from a car with a tape deck straight to a car with nothing but car play. I skipped my CD era and I’m sad about it.

My husbands car has been in for a warranty repair with @renaultireland since the end of January. Garage are still waiting for a part from France. His courtesy car needs to be returned today because insurance won’t cover it any longer and Renault have no resolution timeline still.

Trump trying to get countries to send their ships through the strait and getting no after no like a door to door salesman wondering if you have time to talk about investing in solar panels.

Hi, lads. Bit of a weird one. I was prescribed some medicine for a thing and I had an allergic reaction to it. Cue an ambulance at the door Wednesday, blue lights up the N25 and a fair fright. Home now and fine. Bit shook, but grand! Apologies for radio silence. On bed rest.✌️

@AddressingLife To me it’s St. Patrick’s day or Paddy’s day. Never St. Paddy’s day and certainly not Patty’s anything.

Dear world, It isn't 'preferred'. It's a fact. It is not Patty. As pointed out, Patty is short for Patricia. Paddy is short for Patrick. The saint was named Patrick, not Patricia, hence it is St. Paddy's Day NOT St. Patty's Day. Signed, Ireland
Merriam-Webster@MerriamWebster

'St. Paddy's Day' is usually preferred over 'St. Patty's Day.' 'Paddy' is the shortened form of the original Irish spelling of 'Patrick,' which is 'Pádraig.' 'Patty' is the shortened form of 'Patricia.'
