@librecomputer Is it already possible to use this on your boards, or the OS images haven't been released yet?

Can you believe 100%+ stable GPU overclock? ARM Mali-450 in Le Potato, Sweet Potato, and La Frite may be old but the simple fix function shaders clock to the moon. 1584MHz is actually faster than the CPU!

@geerlingguy Can you refer? We made significant progress on the software side so we want to reach out to them.

If there's anyone out there at Intel listening, I'd love to test a B50 ;) I just got full Vulkan acceleration working on the B580 on Pi, and have other Alchemist series GPUs, but there are some memory issues. Tried ordering a B50 but they're OOS everywhere :P

@aniiland @ASUS @Snapdragon We use it for native compiles and now this part of our infrastructure is down. We moved to a Dimensity 9400 machine in meantime. @Qualcomm would capture so much of the local inference market with proper Linux support of Hexagon with the X2.

@librecomputer @ASUS @Snapdragon I think X and X2 from Qualcomm, they are not serious about supporting Linux. There are non of the companies who manufacture the CPU sell their products with Linux.

@ASUS we have one of your @Snapdragon X Elite S5507QAD for our testing environment. The battery discharged to 0% and became stuck at 0%. As hardware engineers, we opened the battery and tried to send SMBUS commands to reset the lock. No luck on such a trivial problem. Lenovo and Dell can both reset from Windows/BIOS. What are you doing?

@ValdikSS We haven't gotten to Rockchip and Allwinner optimizations yet. Those will probably land in Q3.

With the prices of the single board computers you're probably better off buying an old Mac Mini with M1 and running CyberEther on them. Its GPU will completely smoke anything on that category.

@ValdikSS It was a longer run than the others, 5 mins vs 1 mins. There's automatic temperature throttle hooked in.

Together with draw call optimization, our first platform can achieve up to 5x draw call improvement and 2x shader throughput improvement from Debian 13's mesa baseline.

@lone_voidwalker @cnxsoft LP core performance are not insignificant. You can fit 3-4 LP cores in the same space as HP cores. There are a lot of tasks where discrete LP cores running two threads provide much higher performance than one HP core sharing resources.

@librecomputer @cnxsoft I wouldn't call it "proper design". There should be no LP cores of any kind. It's just marketing bullshit to increase the core counts on paper. But in reality LP cores are completely unusable.

Entry-level Intel Core 3 304 Wildcat Lake CPU specifications and benchmarks surface. cnx-software.com/2026/04/02/ent… It's a 5-core processor with a P core clocked up to 4.8 GHz, and four LPE cores clocked at up to 3.3 GHz. The chip also integrated a single Xe3 core GPU clocked at 2.3 GHz (9 TOPS) and a 15 TOP NPU. Details were leaked with other hexa-core Wildcat Lake processors. An Intel Core 3 304 system also showed up in Geekbench 6.5, revealing much higher CPU performance compared to the previous generation Alder Lake-N/Twin Lake chips.

After seeing the Mythos benchmark scores, my Claude Opus 4.6 already feels outdated. Anthropic, can you just drop Mythos? I know you can’t do it due to some “safety” reasons, but I’d happily pay $2,000/month to use it. AGI is already here – it’s just not evenly distributed.
Yuchen Jin@Yuchenj_UW

Anthropic is truly unstoppable. Mythos is crushing Claude Opus 4.6 across every serious agentic coding benchmark. It has found vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel, a 27-year-old vulnerability in OpenBSD, and a 16-year-old vulnerability in FFmpeg. No wonder folks at big labs keep telling me AGI is already here.

I just gave Claude Mythos the full corpus of published EUV stochastic defect data from every SPIE Lithography conference since 2018. The resist shot noise problem is the reason sub-2nm nodes might not be manufacturable. Every photoresist vendor says it’s a fundamental limit. I asked Mythos to solve this… and it’s making progress. It’s designing a chemically amplified resist molecular structure atom by atom. It ran 200,000 Monte Carlo photon absorption simulations on our GPU cluster autonomously. Found a sensitizer geometry that reduces stochastic variation by 4x while maintaining the deprotection kinetics needed for throughput. It just asked me if I want it to generate the synthesis pathway. I said yes. It’s writing the reaction sequence. Guys I’m fucking scared…

@geerlingguy Our compute modules have also been validated and the Solitude CM will launch at $60/$100 for 2GB/4GB without eMMC and is compatible with many CM IO boards. With 64GB eMMC, it will run an extra $25.
