I visualized every Citi Bike ride ever taken in NYC. 291 million rides covering 12 years of history, running at 60+ FPS completely in the browser. If you've ever taken a Citi Bike ride before, you're in here.

I asked Curtis Sliwa "are you okay with losing and knowing you contributed to Mamdani's victory?" I did my best to relay the concerns of capitalist america and used @BillAckman's tweet as a reference "a vote for Curtis Sliwa is a vote for Zohran Mamdani" This was Sliwa's response.

NYC’s mayoral race isn’t about housing or crime. It’s about fear, anger, and the emotional collapse of the political middle. Cuomo offers restoration. Mamdani promises transformation. Why it matters and more in @ManhattanInst The Bigger Apple newsletter: manhattan.institute/article/negati…

Would love to see more current data on the “I will never vote for them” question in the jamesrubin.com/nyc-opinion-su… of voters from early March. How do Mamdani, Cuomo and Lander stack up now? (NYC 2025 mayoral race.)

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s public-housing plan would require more than doubling the debt limit. Developers have called it an “unmitigated disaster” that makes zero financial sense, writes @lienazagare.

The good news for NYC is that all 5 boroughs had net population growth between 2023 & 2024, whereas in the preceding year's data four of five lost pop. *But* the main driver of that growth was immigration. All five boroughs still had domestic out-migration.

2. He's coming out swinging at his primary target: not Kagan, but name recognition. He's in a new district, and this'll keep Brannan's name in the news cycle in Coney. Kagan is walking right into it.

One of the underreported things about Ukraine is the absence of a printed press. Because of the Russian invasion, the ad market is barely exist so most of the printed newspapers and magazines stopped publishing it. Now in supermarkets, it is replaced by actual paper.
