officially been to both of south dakota’s national parks. visited wind cave today and it’s honestly one of the coolest parks i’ve been to! both culturally and geographically i had so much fun

having adult friendships is so fun because one hangout you get be getting plastered at a bar together and the next you could be in your apartment yapping while you do laundry

we found quite a few of those paths, which are typically underwater it seems. got to see some really cool sedimentary layers, geodes, petrified wood and even came across some fossils too! obvs didn’t take anything but it was so much fun

a few friends and i went to the badlands because somehow ive never been (despite living like an hour from the park the last 9 years) and it was honestly so cool. 10/10 recommend
