tokenomics is notoriously tricky. you can never satisfy everyone's interests, but as the space matures, one rule becomes non-negotiable: value must flow to those who actually work for it. we're seeing a massive structural shift across L1s right now. early on, networks use high inflation to subsidize mere validator participation. it bootstraps security, but eventually, unconditional inflation just dilutes token value. and that's something that KAIA holders have been *very* vocal about (IYKYK). sustainable tokenomics is the only way everyone wins in the long run. gKaia.

I was a university student when i first read joseph stiglitz’s 'globalization and its discontents'. he wrote extensively about how the "asian tigers" were dismantled in the late 90s because the global financial plumbing wasn't built to serve them, but rather built to extract liquidity to the west. watching this, it feels like we are finally closing a 25-year loop. we spent two decades watching capital flow from asia > us/eu. now, the flow is reversing. intra-asian commerce is decoupling from the west. stiglitz predicted that for this region to thrive, it needed to reduce reliance on external rails. he just didn't know those rails would be onchain.
