Speaking as someone with "a weird gore fetish" these scenes arent really that hot or pornographic.
They are however kinda icky in the broader way of how these games take a badass woman protagonist and turns her into a vulnerable squishy torture toy for the animators.

The reason the death scenes are censored like this is because game journalists saw the gruesome death scenes in the first Tomb Raider remake and said, "Yeah these are inherently sexualized deaths." TL;DR - Some game journos have a weird gore fetish, got uncomfortable, so now we can't have violent deaths in Tomb Raider anymore.

@Eragon_RH My problem with Nintendo is that prices never seem to go down. A game that was $60 six years ago for example, will still be $60 today whereas I've rarely seen that happen in other markets, with GTA V being the only notable example I can think of off the top of my head.

The only threats that you can survive at attack from(i.e. would notice fighting back) can be deterred by using the survival multitool, but not killed.
In the original, they didn’t include offensive weapons because of the Sandy Hook shootings.

Subnautica 2 is a pacifist ideology woven into a game.
Players have noticed you cannot defend yourself against attacking fish. Not even in self defense. Only passive means are available.
This was by design. You can't kill anything because the devs feel it would support gun violence and aspects of colonialism:
"Subnautica is one vote towards a world with less guns. A reminder that there is another way forward."
"We want people to feel like they're learning to adapt to the world, rather than being a conqueror or dominator."
"We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill."
The anti-violence stance got stronger from Subnautica 1 -> 2, which now has a complete "no kill" policy even when the fish can still kill *you*.

AMD’s Ryzen X3D CPUs are so powerful that they were causing physics-related stutters in Apex Legends.
Thanks to their massive 3D V-Cache, these processors let the game run at extremely high frame rates, often well over 240 FPS and sometimes pushing toward the 300 FPS cap.
Apex Legends uses a physics system built on a heavily modified Source engine that simply wasn’t designed to handle today’s ultra-fast modern CPUs.
At those extreme speeds, physics calculations can stall the main thread during complex scenes, leading to noticeable stutters.
Respawn Entertainment fixed the problem in the Season 29 “Overclocked” patch.
They improved CPU performance on physics calculations, eliminating the stutters that were especially prominent on CPUs like the Ryzen X3D series

I can maybe see for digital copies, but they don't license out a toaster when you buy it at the store, so why is my physical copy of KOTOR licensed instead of me owning that copy?
