@The_Forty_Four The Boro manager said he’s seen all the CCTV footage. Doesn’t it go against GDPR to share footage. I know the company I work for can’t share CCTV with any other staff, it can only be shared with Police etc.

Southampton deny any knowledge of missing Bayern Munich goalkeeper #SaintsFC have insisted they have “absolutely no idea” where on-loan goalkeeper Daniel Peretz might be, despite mounting reports that his parent club Bayern Munich are attempting to recall him because they have accidentally run out of goalkeepers. The 23-year-old shot-stopper, who was loaned to Southampton F.C. earlier this season, has not been seen for several hours, prompting German officials to ask politely if they could have him back. Southampton have responded by shrugging elaborately and slowly closing a large door marked “Definitely Not Where Daniel Peretz Is”. A club spokesperson said: “Daniel who? Never heard of him. You must be thinking of someone else. We certainly don’t have a fully-fit, competent goalkeeper hidden somewhere inside St Mary’s Stadium.” Sources inside the club claim Bayern representatives arrived earlier this week with paperwork requesting the return of Peretz, only to be told by Southampton staff that they had checked everywhere including the dressing rooms, the boot room and a suspiciously goalkeeper-shaped crate labelled “training cones”. Meanwhile, Bayern are believed to be increasingly desperate after a sequence of injuries, illnesses and administrative disasters left them with no one capable of standing between the posts other than a confused midfielder wearing gloves. A Bayern official said: “We were assured the loan agreement meant we could recall him in emergencies. Having literally zero goalkeepers seems like the sort of emergency that clause was designed for.” Southampton maintain they are doing everything possible to help. “We’ve conducted a thorough search,” said the spokesperson. “We looked under the stands, inside the physio room and briefly behind the sofa in the manager’s office. Nothing.” When asked if the club had perhaps hidden Peretz to avoid relying on current goalkeepers Alex McCarthy and George Long, the spokesperson gave a firm denial. At press time, Southampton had issued a further statement insisting that if anyone does happen to see Daniel Peretz wandering around the stadium wearing gloves and looking suspiciously like a professional goalkeeper, they should report him immediately so the club can “continue not having him.”
