As I’ve aged I’ve definitely become more of a soft arse when it comes to animals, birds and even insects, I hate seeing road kill 🤮 and I absolutely cannot watch those nature programs knowing that something’s about to get eaten. 🙈

Morning all, we’re off to explore the Mull of Galloway today with a walk out to the lighthouse and then the promise of coffee and cake and a visit to the local distillery for a bottle of whisky, Tapas meal for tonight too…….but first…..pre breakfast 😋 Have a good one all 😎

@ponderosapine1 She liked to sleep cuddled up to my neck. She was wonderful. Unfortunately, she got sick and died. It still makes me very sad when I think about it🥺 People don't appreciate ducks.🤗

@ponderosapine1 Ducks have wonderful personalities, and that's precisely why I want one. A long time ago, my neighbor's cat caught a wild duck named Gongol. When I took her away from him, she started treating me like her mother. She followed me everywhere, even up the stairs....

@ponderosapine1 I remember the days when I would read at night under the covers with a flashlight on so my parents wouldn't notice. Now kids do the same, but with an iPhone🙄

I'm spending much more time reading books 📚 than on X ... Since a child, it's been books, my never having played with toys, never watch cartoons, never read comic books, etc. Yeah, I was different, and still am ~ 👍 Everyone, have a Nice day 👌🕊️🙏

I had to look it up 😅 ... that's me, always questioning, and I found this: "Don't Keep Just One: Ducks are flock animals; you should keep at least two to three, as a single duck will suffer from stress." ... so yep, it takes two (or more) to tango, the more the merrier it seems 😉 Have a Very Nice Wednesday, Nesca ~ 🕊️🙏
