I have a loved one who may be reaching a similar point in their life journey. I’ve been reflecting on the life lessons I learned from them and the things I want to be sure to say while there is still time. What occurred to me is: the flip side of grief is gratitude I picked up my phone and there was your message, first in my feed. It moved me, as did so many of the responses. It’s so heartening to see the impact of a single post, and the positive ripples of humanity you have unleashed. Thank you. 🙏🏻

I’m entering hospice today. Will probably update every little if at all. But I wanted to say to be kind, be brave, be principled, be an idealist. Most importantly, be a decent human. I love that we existed together, in this moment of time.
