@DaveTalks @PaulEmbery My beliefs are loosely Christian, but Jesus told us to love, and not hate those who are different. The majority of Muslims and Christians don’t hate each other, they live alongside one another and don’t feel the need to pick a side. 6.5% of the population isn’t a threat.

@DaveTalks @PaulEmbery I haven’t always lived here. The Bible actually tells us to love our neighbour. I have no strict religious faith, but I did once upon a time and I retain the biblical knowledge I gained in that period. Don’t assume you know my life.

Buckingham Palace has reportedly confirmed that the king will not be issuing an Easter message this year. Apparently, it isn't traditional for the monarch to issue a special message at Easter. Well, fine. But the king did issue a special message for Ramadan in February. So many Christians will understandably feel slighted. And many others will see it as yet another example of asymmetric multiculturalism.

@PaulEmbery @MsMansfield1990 Double standards which proves that our king thinks more about Muslims than Christians. If he hadn’t issued Ramadan and Eid messages there would be no problem. It just doesn’t look right or sit well with the British people.

The Ramadan message is the problem. It's not traditional, it's not Christian, it's actually offensive and blasphemous in many ways. So don't do it. But he and leaders alike are insanely weak. He's a reflection of the decrepit British elite who continually sell us out in any way that they can, because it makes them feel morally virtuous when instead it is a cowardly act that further damages the soul of this country.

Got to work and saw my manager left me a sticky note: "Please prioritize VIP tickets today." We don't actually have VIP tickets. We have regular tickets and tickets from people who think they're VIPs. But I've created my own system. Actual priority: - Tickets that affect multiple people (network issues, shared drive problems) - Tickets from people who are nice to me - Tickets that are easy and make me look productive - Everything else The CEO's assistant submitted a ticket this morning asking for help with Excel formulas. Marked it "HIGH PRIORITY." I'll get to that one around 3 PM. Meanwhile, the guy from Facilities who always brings me cookies when he's on my floor? His ticket about the conference room TV went straight to the top. Fixed it in 10 minutes. He'll probably bring cookies tomorrow. The CEO's assistant will get her Excel help eventually, but she's never once said thank you, so she can wait. My manager thinks I'm prioritizing based on business impact. I'm actually prioritizing based on who treats me like a human.
