Bearspaw Feeder Main Repair Work Ahead of Schedule! We’re making great progress on the Bearspaw South Feeder Main repair, and I have some good news to share with you. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of our construction crews, the repair is moving faster than expected, and we’re now on track to complete construction by this weekend – almost a full week ahead of schedule.   While this is a big step forward, I ask that you continue to conserve water for about 10 more days as crews finish the remaining work. During this time, they’ll be pouring concrete, backfilling, paving, and carefully monitoring the pipe to ensure safe water flow.   A huge thank you to everyone involved in the project – from the contractors and City teams to the residents and businesses affected by the work sites. Your patience and commitment are so deeply appreciated.   Together, we’ve managed to reduce water consumption, and that has made a world of difference. Let’s keep up the great work as we approach the final stretch. Water restrictions are still expected to be lifted by September 22, and I’m optimistic we’ll get there on time.

We have heard from Elections Calgary, and my request for a recount in Ward 4 has been denied. The LAE Act as it is written gives the Returning Officer limited discretion and authority to conduct a recount. As a result, I will begin the process of requesting a judicial recount.
