Even the ultra nationalist "dominion boys" from Ontario are worried about Alberta separating.
They're jealous because they know we have a better chance of saving ourselves than they do.
They can't openly support us, because our independence is bad for them. Once Alberta leaves, Ontario will be royally fucked.
They should probably just stay out of our politics, or at least be neutral. Morons like this, attacking our cause, only makes me more resolute in my drive for an independent Alberta.

@Martyupnorth As a Quebecer and once proud Canadian I might actually consider voting yes in a Quebec independence vote just to blow it all up and see where all the pieces fall.
Canada is just not working anymore in its current Liberal state.
Hopefully Alberta would welcome me. :)

If Quebec separates, the rest of Canada would never elect a Liberal government, ever again.

I had the privilege of working closely with Steven Guilbault over the past several years. Steven came to Ottawa committed to making a difference in environmental policy in Canada and around the world. Through the work that he and others did, Canada has successfully bent the curve on emissions – which were on a rapidly escalating trajectory under Stephen Harper. Steven’s decision yesterday is a loss for the government – but is not surprising for a man for whom living in accordance with your principles is extremely important.
